I had the opportunity to interview ex-boxer Rubin (Hurricane) Carter a few months before his death. We talked about the plight of Atif Rafay and Sebastian Burns, the two West Vancouver men convicted of killing Rafay's parents and sister in 1994. Carter spent 19 years in prison after being wrongfully convicted of a triple murder and after his release became an outspoken advocate for prisoners. Burns and Rafay were among the inmates he was fighting for. Here's the story.
